Double Page Planning Draft

 ARTICLE PLANNING

 This post will entail the planning & ideas of a double page spread that could be an issue in Fempire

(this is only planning and none-definite)

 

- although my target audience was initially global, i think that it would be wiser for it to be non-conservative and progressive countries such as New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Canada and/or Switzerland. This is because some pieces, especially political, may seem biased, which is why i think the articles would be more read, and generally widely accepted in these countries, as it can be easily be left open to interpretation without offense)

- according to the research in my last blog post, i have picked up on how readers really fixate on the appearance, and i plan to incorporate this into my double-page spread by using bright colors, a saturated picture and a funky but hopefully attracting layout

- i have to remember to keep the content and language relevant to my target audience's age group

- more towards the informative side than the aesthetics

 

CONTENT IDEAS

- how-to tips (top 10 entrepreneurs advice/ top 10 women-owned/run companies)

- q & a (most commonly asked questions)

- interviews (with an entrepreneur)

- political unbiased articles about current events 

(example: the controversial topic of how Biden was the better of the two candidates but people are changing their minds after the strike in Syria)

- an article about the under-represented women of color in business (could be called 'women who lead')

- an article about workplace discrimination

- an article about the lessons in leadership
