Moodboard/Magazine Aesthetics

 

This is the mood-board i have created that i feel best resonates with the vibe and feel of Fempire.

Each picture here represents a concept that i would like to portray in my magazine.

Unlike most business magazines that have very bland colors and dull layouts, my aim is to make Fempire to have a bit of a Vogue layout and style and Forbes-like article mixed, so that it looks as appealing and attractive as fashions magazine but with formal undertone. 

I used a few pictures to make my target audience obvious like the picture on the top right which shows that its for women in their 20s and the bottom right which is the illustration of a girl graduating.

I also applied a few pictures with short quotes, to depict a message of femininity and business both in contrast to show that a woman can be and are both. 

As well as a few pictures that i think portray a bit of luxury, a way of living, which in a way says a lot about my magazine and its readers.

The overall color scheme is mainly beige-cream, alongside other colors like black, so it has a subtle but also bold touch to it.
